Filters

  • The maintenance and replacement intervals are defined in the Periodicity table (Periodicity table).

  • Cleaning instructions can be found in the Filter cleaning chapter (Cleaning).

  • Use all provided filters.

  • Only a perfect filtration of the mixture ensures the good functioning of the sprayer.

  • The filtration quality of the spray mixture has a considerable influence on the success of the plant protection measures.

  • Respect indicated filter sizes.

  • The plant protection products used must be compatible with the indicated filter sizes. Particular care must be taken to ensure that the active ingredients are not retained by the filters. Ask the manufacturer of the plant protection product for information on a case-by-case basis.

Residual volume

The total residual volume is defined in ISO 13440:1996 §2.1. It is the sum of the volume of the residue in the tank (dilutable volume) and the dead volume (non-dilutable volume). The maximum allowable value of this volume is defined in ISO 16119-2:2013 §5.1.1.3.1. The boom width taken into account is the total width used for spreading by cumulating the overlaps. This width is 6.12 m | 20.08 ft and is therefore wider than the projected with of 6.04 m | 19.82 ft.

2.0 m/s (~ 7 km/h) | 6.56 ft/s (~ 4.34 mph)

2.0 cm | 0.79 in

The minimum length of the footprints on the ground Lp is given by the relation: Lp = Tv × Vm where Tv is the minimum valve opening time (see table above) Vm is the feed speed of the machine.
