This machine is the result of the most advanced research and development in the automated treatment of meadows and crops, and we are convinced that it will give you complete satisfaction.

This manual is an integral part of the machine and must always accompany it, even in case of resale. It contains the information necessary for its optimal use and safe operation. It is therefore imperative that you read it carefully and follow the instructions scrupulously.

Field of application

The Ultra-High Precision Sprayer ARA™ is used for plant protection treatments in arable and vegetable crops as well as in permanent grassland. Based on artificial intelligence, crops and weeds are recognised and differentiated, and the target plant is treated with a spot accuracy of 6 × 6 cm | 2.4 x 2.4 in. Both selective and non-selective herbicides can be applied. When treating with non-selective herbicides, a safety zone of 0 to 16 cm | 6.3 in can be set around the crop to avoid any contact with it. In addition to the application of herbicides, the precision field sprayer is also able to selectively identify the crop in order to apply fungicides or insecticides. The high-precision field sprayer is carried as an attachment on the tractor and can be used at a maximum driving speed of 7.2 km/h | 4.5 mph. As ARA™ works independently of daylight, the high-precision field sprayer can also be used at night.

Intended uses

ARA™ is a mounted sprayer that allows the targeted application of herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, or fertilizers by a very high-precision sprayer for the ecological and economical treatment of row crops, grasslands and intercrops while ensuring minimal drift.

Treatment speed and performance may depend on a number of limiting parameters, such as weather conditions, terrain, stage of crop development and crop type. Although the machine is designed to be effective in the majority of cases, certain combinations of the above parameters can result in a significant drop in detection and spraying performance.

Unauthorized uses

• This machine is designed for spraying herbicides, fungicides, pesticides, insecticides and/or fertilizers in the agricultural field and must not be used for other purposes. Its normal use and safety instructions are described in this manual and on the safety signs.

• Use by persons under the age of 18 is strictly prohibited.

• Only original equipment can be used to equip the machine.

• It must not be equipped with ancillary equipment not provided by Ecorobotix.

• Failure to comply with these rules may render null and void the type-approval obtained for the country of use and compliance with European Community directives.

• Do not use herbicides, fungicides, pesticides, insecticides and/or fertilizers that are not approved by national or federal authorities. Follow the concentrations recommended by the manufacturer and adhere to the instructions on the product's original label.

ARA™ is designed to comply with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions:

1. this device may not cause harmful interference, and

2. this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
