To change the hydraulic pump oil:

  1. Make sure the pump is stopped. Allow to cool for 60 minutes before handling.

  2. Disconnect hoses. Unscrew and disconnect all hoses from the hydraulic pump.

  3. Remove pump from dual tank module. Unscrew the 4 support bolts, then carefully remove the pump and its support from the dual tank module.

  4. Remove the hydraulic pump from the bracket. Unscrew the 2 bolts holding the pump and bracket together, then place the pump on a flat, stable work surface.

  5. Place a drip tray close to the pump. The tray should be large enough to hold 700 ml | 23.6 fl oz of oil.

  6. Drain used oil. Remove and remove the filler cap, then tilt the pump to drain all the oil into the drip tray.

  7. Remove the pump heads. Unscrew the bolts securing the pump heads and remove them one by one.

  8. Remove the diaphragms. Unscrew and remove the fixing bolt and diaphragm plate. Then carefully remove the used diaphragm.

  9. Drain off any remaining oil. Drain the remaining used oil into the drip tray.

  10. Install new diaphragms. Grease the diaphragm with new oil, then feed the diaphragm through the piston and place it at the bottom. Replace the diaphragm plate and bolt and tighten. Refer to tightening torque according to bolt size: M6x1: 5 Nm / M8x1.25: 12 Nm / M10x1.25: 25 Nm.

  11. Replace valves. Remove the old valve and replace with a new one.

  12. Refit pump heads. Place pump heads in position and secure by tightening the corresponding fixing bolts. Observe the above tightening torques.

  13. Fill with new oil. Open the filler cap and fill with new oil to the minimum level indicated.

  14. Reassemble the pump. Assemble the pump on its support by tightening the 2 fixing bolts. Replace and secure the pump on the dual tank module by tightening the 4 fixing bolts, then connect the previously disconnected hoses.

  15. Monitor oil level. Check oil level and color regularly. Replace the oil according to the periodicity table.
