Road safety devices and requirement

The road safety devices are installed at the factory or by the authorized Ecorobotix partner dealer in accordance with the applicable legislation.

Red and white striped panels

The panels should be placed so that the strips point up and, in the middle, and form an inverted V when the modules are folded. They should be attached in the following 4 places:

• At the back of the center module, one on the left and one on the right. These two panels are also equipped with traffic lights.

• At the front of the left and right modules.

Rear Traffic Lights

They must be fixed in the following 2 places:

• At the rear of the center module, one on the left and one on the right. Originally, they are integrated into the rear red and white striped panels (see above).

The following information must be correctly transmitted and displayed between the driver's cab and the lights:

• Left and right turn signals.

• Left and right brakes.

• Reverse gear.

Headlights and front turn signals

They must be fixed in the following 2 places:

• At the front of the tank, one on the left and one on the right.

Speed limit sticker

It must be affixed in the following location:

• At the back of the central module.

Reflective Triangle

Check whether the legislation in force requires the attachment of a reflective triangle. ARA does not have a reflective triangle available from the factory.

Lateral visibility mirrors

These mirrors must have a surface area of 500 cm² | 77.5 in². They are mandatory when the distance between the center of the steering wheel and the frontmost part of the tank is between 3 and 4 m | 9.84 and 13.12 ft. For greater distances, a camera vision system is mandatory.

They must be mounted in the following location:

• Above and in front of the tank.

Approval

Check that the machine does not need any special approval for use on public roads. Some countries do not require special approval for mounted machines.
