Preparing the sprayer for storage

At the end of each season

  • Clean the machine thoroughly.

  • Rinse the spray circuit.

  • Drain all crankcases and refill with new oil.

  • Check general lubrication of the machine.

  • Grease the cylinder rods in contact with the outside.

  • Check that all nuts and screws are tight.

  • Make all necessary paint touch-ups.

  • Replace worn or damaged parts immediately with original Ecorobotix parts.

  • Remove and respect the PTO shaft maintenance.

  • Store the tablet in a dry and dust-free place.

  • Store the machine in a dry place, protected from the weather.


Freeze protection of the machine

Never spray or apply antifreeze solution to the environment.

Option 1


  1. Flush the spray circuit.

  2. Empty the tanks completely.

  3. Completely empty the boom through the end-of-boom drain valve (optional).

  4. Store the machine in a frost-free place.

Option 2


  1. Fill the rinse tank with 50 to 100 litres | 13 to 26 US gal of antifreeze solution.

  2. Let the antifreeze solution circulate throughout the spray circuit.

  3. Spray the antifreeze solution onto a watertight floor where the antifreeze solution can be recovered.


WARNING

When using the antifreeze method, please pay attention to the composition of your product. It is best practice to use antifreeze designed specifically for sprayers. These products normally contain Ethylene Glycol or Diethylene Glycol, and should not contain alcohol. 

To avoid potential damage to your sprayer's components, select a product without Ethyl Alcohol and derivatives (Methyl Alcohol, Tert-butyl Alcohol, Ethoxylated alcohol, Methanol), and Polyethylene Glycol.


At the beginning of each season

  • Read the instruction manual carefully.

  • Check the general lubrification of the machine.

  • Wipe grease from the cylinder rods.

  • Check that all nuts and screws are tight.

  • Check that all protection equipment is in place and in good condition.

  • Flush the spray circuit.

  • Check the end-of-season points of the periodicity table (Periodicity table).
